Where's Rumbles? - Diego

Sometimes Rumbles goes WAY up high where I can't see him. I look here there and everywhere, mewing my little Hammy heart out till I find him.

When I finally find him, I stare at him, hoping he'll come down and play.

Rumbles is my hero!

Our dear Miss Katie has done up a brilliant video for ML on her birthday! It's very well done (specially the part with me in it) and the only thing I'd change about it is how close that Ham is standing to Katie!

ML is the driving force behind the Cat Blogosphere, and we're so grateful for all that she does. Happy birthday cuddles from us both (with some extra RUMBLEcuddles, cause that's how I roll!!)

Back to normal - Rumblepurr

Hammy is back to himself, we're roaring around the house at very high speeds. I can't believe that TREATS were thrown out! Rumbledad CLAIMS I was trying to get into the garbage can to get to the treats, but I ask you...

Does this look like the face of somecat that would do that?

The Ham report - Rumblepurr

So, we've been to the vet, and he suspects allergies, most likely food. He's been noming on some Chicken Temptations when he usually gets seafood flavor, so Rumblemum thinks that might be it.

She's thrown out the Temptations (I'm not supposed to eat them because they cause my acne to flare up) and we're gonna see what happens. Hammy had a shot that should keep him from scratching the area any more than he already has.

In other news, that Ham now weights 6.82KG - which is 15Lbs... that's almost as big as ME!

Hi all,

I was giving little Diego a combing today, because I've noticed he's been shedding. While I was combing his ruff I noticed a large, red bald patch.

My first instinct was that he's been over grooming - but the location of the patch isn't somewhere he could easily wash or bite. He has been scratching a bit in that area over the last few weeks, so it might be that?

He and Rumbles have also been play fighting - but I don't think it's something Rumbles would have done - he's such a gentle boy.

Unfortunately I noticed the patch after the vet had closed, and I don't want to take him to emergency, I'll take him in tomorrow. I've plugged in the Feliway in case it is stress or over-grooming.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
