Nurse Hammy by day...

Hello everyone, this is HAMMY!

I don't get NEARLY enough blog time, so I'm SO happy to be able to post today to tell you about my very important work.

I have a new day-job! Rumblemum has a nasty cold, and so I am... NURSE HAMMY!

Here's how it works... Doctor Rumblepurr makes the diagnosis, and then he prescribes cuddles. Quite often he'll begin the cuddling, but when he gets called away on other important pussycat business (like nomming or napping) he calls ME in! Nurse HAMMY!

I give ALL kinds of cuddles, and I also offer a Hammy massage service - I knead any sore and aching muscles with my mighty paws, and I also do some acupuncture with my claws... but gently!

Sometimes, you just need to look at things in a different way!

The Rumbleparents have put this AWESOME stool in the livingroom, and I've claimed it as MINE. Sometimes I like to peek at them all sneaky like...

We're super happy this week - Rumbledad took today off to watch some sport thing, and it's a holiday on Wednesday... so we get ALL DAY CUDDLES!! woo HOO! (at least we BETTER get all day cuddles. I've earned em!)

It's warm again...

And that means I need my beloved fan!!

"Mister August"

That darn Ham! He is strutting around the house, preening in front of MY mirror... it seems he was selected for Morris the Cat's "Morris & Friends Calendar"

"Mister August" as he now likes to be known wishes to tell all his fans that if you need a little more Hammy in your year, you should buy this wonderful calendar! The proceeds go to he Hinsdale Humane Society.

And now even MORE Hammy... the wonderful people at Pet360 - a cool community for cat and dog people to meet - send us some WONDERFUL gifts, including a new sisal ball! Hammy immediately claimed it in the name of all that is Ham...



If you haven't seen the Pet360 site I highly recommend it. They've got all kinds of great info, including updates on pet food recalls and contests. They also have forums that need more cat people posting, so check them out if you have a moment!

Return of the Rumbledad

Hooray and hooray! Not only did today mark the return of the rotten roaming Rumbledad, but he brought us back some of our most favorite cat tents!!!

We've adored these tents, but never been able to find them in NZ! Ginger Jasper sent us some a while back, but we've loved those ones to death.  I guess you can only get them in the UK, so I'm very happy that Rumbledad bought several for us.

Speaking of the UK, I've got a post on behalf of VetVits!

VetVits is a UK company that provides a range of medications for your pet, including some excellent options in case your cat may need flea treatment.

They've got a really pretty and easy to use website, and have supplements for kitties, doggies and even horses! I was quite impressed with their site design and they've got a lot of really useful pet information including a 'What the Vet Says' section!

If you've got a couple of minutes, check out their site. In the meantime I'm going to be hanging out in my beloved tent...

Rumblemum put both the fans so they pointed at ME! Hammy was in the bedroom, he only had ONE fan in there. (Perks of being the big brother *strut*)

Rumbledad returns tomorrow! He better bring an air conditioner with him...

Still no Rumbledad!

We're starting to think he's not ever getting back!! But on the plus side, Hammy gets to take up his side of the bed and I take up Rumblemums side... she gets squished in the middle! *hee hee*

We wanted to send our BIGGEST healing purrs to a very special pal - little woofie Pip.

The lovely young Kitshka from 'Texas, a cat in New York' blog selected ME as the winner of an amazing package of toys all the way from New York!!
