Not only is my boy home, but he's almost back to himself. Rumbledad just brought him home, and the verdict is that he most likely had a bout of gastro-enteritis that caused the pain and fever. It could be because he's been stressed his immune system is down - he's had this and a bad bout of feline acne - but the x-rays today showed that there is no blockage.
He's not hiding under the bed (like he was yesterday) he's out and confident again. Hammy is happy (but I think a little envious that we're fussing over Rumbles so much - we're making sure to fuss over him as well).
Once again... thank you all so, so much for your support. I know that Rumbles has felt all the love and good wishes you've all sent to him, and he's sending out a BIG RUMBLECUDDLE to you all. I hope you all know how much I've appreciated all the messages and comments and the #pawcircle. Your kindness has been amazing.

Phew! Do you hear the thunder ? That's the sound of Happy Dancing Paws in Finland (North). Go Rumbles - we are very, very pleased with your röntgen (X-ray) and also that you are feeling better. The Ladycats better watch out.
And Stran sends a special head rub to Rumblemum for coping with all this stress.
Yay for the Rumbler!!! Can cats have yogurt? Bet the antibiotic he's been taking wiped out the good bacteria in his stomach and intestinal track. That can really cause some "discomfort" Please give both Rumbler and Sandy Eggo a hug for me.

I'm SO relieved that Rumbles is doing better and getting back to his normal self! My human and I (and even Binga and Boodie) were very worried about him and sending lots of purrs.
Rumbles I did not know you had been poorly, so I dropped by today to leave you some purrs and now I can add some happy paws to that as you are feeling a bit better - hurray!

that is good news. we hope he is back to 100% soon. did they give you anything for him. one of our rescue vets recommends yogurt to help with stomach issues

I have used diluted, topical Hibiclens for feline acne with incredible success. Of course, your vet knows best! It works really well if you apply at the beginning of an outbreak. So glad you're feeling better!
