There is no Thanksgiving in New Zealand (and I miss it very much, I loooooove turkey!) This year though, we have our own Thanksgiving.
You may remember Rumbles being very ill about 6 months ago, and they found his heart was enlarged. Yesterday he had to go to the heart specialist for them to check his progress and see what happens next.
We are so thankful that his heart hasn’t gotten any worse, and his liver function is good as well (it wasn't last time). We are so thankful that he's happy, and zooming around and just generally being a wonderful boy.
Hammy was thankful when he came home - poor Ham was home alone all day, and I think he realised how much he loves his big bro.
And I'm thankful for all of you who were so kind when Rumbles was sick. I hope you're all having a Thanksgiving, no matter where you are in the world. :)

It's so good to know Rumble is doing OK. Man that was a scare. You know you hold your breath in a way, waiting for the good news - like this.

Good news from the specialist is something to be thankful for. Hopefully Rumbles is one of those kitties whose big heart never gives him any trouble. We know it makes him a big lover boy!
You could always make a chicken and pretend you are giants eating thanksgiving turkey. :-) Just serve with baby carrots and fingerling potatoes for the full effect.

Hi Boo Boo (oops....I mean Rumble)....my parents were away for Thanksgiving but brought me home some TURKEY! At Cat Scouts AND here at home though I've been thinking about just how thankful I am for all my blog friends and all that I have including my Mom and Dad.
