Rawr

I think Rumbles saw this photo of me and thought I was a mighty LION! He's let me have a turn blogging today!

Rumblemum was a little cross with me the other day. I want to be JUST like Rumbles, and he jumps REALLY high on the shelves to watch over her when she goes to zzZzzz. Well, I KNEW if I hopped on the bed enough I'd be able to reach him.... when that didn't work, I hopped on Rumblemum to see if she was bouncy...

She is not.

Nor does she like me trying.

Oh, Hamlet, Rumblemum forgot that two kitties is more than twice as much being woken up at night! I am surprised you did not find her squishy soft when you jumped on her. I love your lionly stretch.

Don't worry little Sandy Eggo, very soon you'll be almost as big as the Rumbler & then you both will be able to jump from the bed to the high shelves. Be sure and do it a few minutes apart though for the best effect!...snicker...

Look at those paws...you ARE a mighty lion!!!

Yep... humans sort of get grouchy when you jump on them... especially if they are sleeping at the time. You're learning... that's good.

Have a great weekend.

Awwww Diego, us little kitties have to learn somehow huh? Once, when I was a little kitty - a few months ago - I climbed to the top of the bedroom curtains. Just as she woke up and saw me with one beady eye, I leapt straight on to her all purry. Mummy did think it was funny, but daddy was a bit grumpy. It won't be long and you will be able to jump up there really easily :)xx

My, such big lion paws you have! Just don't ever forget Rumbles is the dominant male cat.

Fuzzy Tales said...

Haha! Diego, Derry hops on his human at night all the time, though Nicki will hop *over*. It does make them grumpy, though, when you do it--especially in the middle of the night.

Our mom has numerous bruises all over her body when I jump on her. I can't help it! She's so squishy! hehehe!

MOL, what a cutie you are, Diego!!!!!

Memories of Eric and Flynn said...

Haha! Our mum says your mum had better hope you grow out of doing that before you get to Eric's size. He leaps on the bed in the middle of the night, and if she is lucky, he lands on her shoulder. She is more often unlucky because he usually lands on her head and frightens the beejeebers out of her.

BeadedTail said...

MOL! Humans aren't bouncy but they do provide a closer jumping off point. The trick is to jump once and then get out of reach!

Marg said...

MOL, Diego, not a good thing to get Mom annoyed. But it is funny and we are sorry for laughing. You had best find a better route up to where Rumbles stays but then he might not want you there. After all he is the lion of the house. Hope you can find your own spot. Have a great week end all of you.

SCREEEE! Cute overload! Tell Rumblemum to get over it! As a cat, you can do whatever you want.

Rawr~! Yeah, bouncing on the mom is never a good idea. It's especially bad when she's asleep. but you'll get it all figured out soon enough!

Hamlet, erm...Diego, We have RESPECT for you now, sir!

Do what we do: aim for the squashy round bits on your Mom's front. They're pretty springy! At least, our Mommy's are. Sometimes.

The Whiskeratti said...

Well, maybe she's not bouncy but we bet she was squeally when you tried. :)

Mariodacat said...

he he- Rumblemum's aren't very bouncy at all. I bet you woke her up in a hurry tho!

Catio Tales said...

Maybe I can try to see if Äiti is bouncy or not. I bet Rumblemum was angry with you for all of half a second.

Julia Williams said...

Hahaha! Well...you can't blame a kitteh for trying.

At least you didn't attack her face like Binga used to do when she was a kitten!

Oh that photo is precious. I bet your mum was not mad for long when you look like that. Hugs GJ x

Our Mom isn't very bouncy either. For some reason she doesn't like it when we jump up on her tummy. She's weird.

* tears of laughter * Diego my boy, you have a lot of growing up to do. Mums do NOT like being jumped on (neither do dads to be honest......)

I'm with Cathy Keisha ... sorry, Rumblemum, but Diego Hamlet was doing his best to emulate his big brother Rumbles. Maybe she really loved it but she hasn't said so.
Have a wonderful weekend,

Diego, you are the bravest of beasts! You dare to go where none has gone before, even if Mommy doesn't like it.

She just doesn't understand your priorities. You'll have to explain them to her.

Oh, RAWR, Diego - how big and mighty you do look! Psst: we like to land on mummy's bladder when it's brekkie time and she won't get up. Not that we're saying a good boy like you should do something like that... ;)

Hannah and Lucy said...

We don't think you'll get extra treats for doing that Diego!

From our experiences, we can tell you it's true, Diego ... Mums usually aren't bouncy (though that never stopped us from trying)!

Moo has not learned his "no bouncing on Mom while she's sleeping" lesson yet. Do you think that you could maybe teach him?

Nadbugs said...

This is the problem. When they're this cute, it's tough to stay mad. My Bean manages, tho. To stay mad. For a really really long time. But when she sees a pic like this, she realizes the error of her ways. Keep 'em coming. We need all the help we can get over here.
