We didn't want the Rumblemum to leave us this morning.
Joining forces, we figured the best way to keep her in bed.... CUDDLEPILE!!
She had the quilt pulled up over her ears and she was lying on her tummy. Rumbles FLOOMPED himself up her spine, resting his mighty paws on her head.
I had her captured in the teddy-bear cuddles - I lay beside her and let her cuddle me like a bear.
We almost had her!! But in the end she made the horrible decision to leave us.
We'll need to come up with a more compelling plan for tomorrow...

It was a good plan! But we think you might want to work on picking winning lottery numbers--then your mum might be able to stay home with you!
Don't give up trying. Maybe BOTH on her spine would do it.
I bet you would rather your humans stay with you until all this earthquake stuff has passed. We're thinking of the humans and animals in Christchurch a lot - must be un-nerving for them. Stay safe, boys.

Ask for more treats and foods. More foods = more weight = more effective cuddlepile! Just be careful you don't get too too big and snufficate her.
Maybe the cuddle pile needs to get bigger - we could come help.

It's hard to keep our humans in bed, cuddling us. I try every morning with no luck. This week Mom's on staycation and I'm getting spoiled with extra morning cuddles.
I guarantee you guys that she did NOT want to leave, but mums and dads have to go to work so they can bring home the kibble!
That would have been hard to leave...I think I would have stayed in bed with you fellas.
I used to try this too and now the cats help. Kenshin sits on Girl's throat and face, ToPu sits on one arm and part of her chest and I sit on the other. It keeps her in bed for a while, but mostly because she can't resist our cuteness, not because we're actually pinning her there. I say keep it up and it will be harder and harder for her to resist!
We'd love to be in a cuddle pile with you two boys! We wouldn't leave!
