How am I - Rumbles

I've had quite a few of you asking how I'm doing, I thought I'd give an update.

I've really been missing Inigo. I don't know where he went, just that he went out the door and I haven't seen him since. I've started running into the hall outside our apartment (which I never did before) to look for him.

I miss having him home during the day, I want to play and there isn't anyone to play with. When Rumblemum comes home I follow her around and I don't take my eyes off of her!!

Rumblemum worries that I'm getting really anxious and maybe a bit unhappy. She's glad she'll be home with me soon for the holidays.

I'm very lucky to have all my friends here to talk to tho. *rumblecuddle*

Aww, poor Rumblepurr... we know how sad that must be for you and your mum both.

Our mom still gets leaky eyes thinking about you losing Inigo. How sad that was.

We hope you will find a new playmate one day, when mom has had some time to heal. It takes a while.

When our Soot went OTRB, Munchkin grieved for her sisfur for 3 months! That was in 2008, and mom STILL cries over Sootsie!

Time does help..but the emptiness never quite goes away. We are purring furry hard for you.

We agree with Praline. Maybe when the time is right your Mom will find you a playmate. You're a yound dude and you need a pal. There are so many cats out there who need a home, and we know your home would be great. In the meantime, please consider us your brothers. We love you dude!

Oh Rumbles, we are sending purrs to you. You will heal, it does take time though. We are sending snuggles and Meowm sends hugs and scritches.

Rumbles, I understand. When Dusty left, I was sad for a really long time. He was my best pal. I really bonded with Mommy after that, but when CC came along I fell in love with him and now we sleep and groom together.
I hope your Mom is doing OK, and you two can help each other heal a little in the next week.

I am so sorry you are missing your pal. Whenever I start to feel down, I find Tiger Lily and give her a good smack. I'd be happy to have you over some time and let you have a go at her. It is very therapeutic.
In the meantime, know that we are all thinking of you.

I wish I could be there with you to play when your Mum's out, but we're a bit far away. But, I'll be "virtually" there whenever you need, because you're my friend and that's what friends are for. *Manly cuddles*

Rumbles, I know how it is. When I was little, there was another cat around here named Scooter. He was lots older than me but he taught me a lotta stuff. I really looked up to him. Then one day, he wasn't here anymore and I was all alone. I really missed having him around. A few months later, my mom brought Ernie home. At first I didn't want to like him, but after a few weeks, we became good buds and it's been great having him around...at least most of the time! ;-)

I know you miss Inigo...your mom does too...you both can bring some comfort to each other when she's home.

I am glad your human will be around lots for the holidays because it sounds like you're lonely, Rumbles. Nobody will ever, ever replace Inigo, but I do think you are a very social kitty who thrives with a roommate.

I have a shiver going through my fur. I would hate to have no family and even though they annoy me, I love them lots! I really hope that when the time is right a new face will come through that door and you will have lots of fluff and fun. Inigo will never be forgotten though - by any of us.

You know, Rumble old pal, the same thing happened to me when my littermate sister Gracie went to The Bridge. I looked all over for her and cried and cried for 2 weeks. Mom got so worried about me, she got me Tipper, who was only 8 weeks old at the time, and I wasn't lonely any more. That was 7 1/2 years ago, and she's been a very good adopted sister to me.

When your Mom is ready, a new brother or sister is what you need.

We think you should ask sandy clawrz for a playmate.

We will ask him for you. :) Hoping you are well rumble family.

Oh Rumbles, the Human knows about this. When Mr. Teeth went to be with Ceiling Cat, Clarkie was pretty sad for awhile. The Human felt he was too old (12 or so) to get him a new kitty-playmate and eventually he adapted just fine to being an only-cat. Looking back, though, she wonders if he might have been just fine with a new furiend. Anyway, whatever happens, sweet Rumbles, your mom and dad will take really good care of you. Though I have to say, the Humans are kind of limited as playmates, MOL! They **bleed** so easily!
