Thank you all

Much more optimistic today. Inigo doesn't seem himself, but I'm hoping that's just the combination of being away from home, medication, and all the strange sounds.

They did pull out some more fluid, but it wasn't as much. His blood pressure is ok, but his kidneys are not doing so well because of the diuretic. They've started him on an ace inhibitor, that should help.

We hope with all that we have that being home will see him brighter and more energetic, and that he'll start eating more.

Rumbles is so out of sorts. He doesn't let us out of his sight when we get home, and he cuddles us both lots. He snuggled up to me in the same way Inigo does, I think he knew I needed that.

I've got photos of him that I'll post soon - been having issues with the laptop so a lot of my updates have been from my phone or ipad (hence some of the odd spellings or grammar - auto-correct is a funny thing) I'll also be able to start visiting more once the laptop is sorted.

We're so blessed to know so many kind friends here in the blogosphere and twitterverse and facebook. Your support has meant more than you'll ever know.

I hope I am reading this correctly, that Inigo is coming home. Even though he may have to go back for checks and even for some fluid again, we are hoping he will be MUCH better in terms of eating and stuff when he gets home. Being at the Vet's to stay must be strange for him.

So sorry things have been out of sort lately for both of the boys. Glad to hear that Inigo is a little better. I think Rumbles is missing his brother.

I'm still purring really hard!

We're still sending many many purrs to our wonderful friend Inigo! We're hoping that that the vet can figure out the right combination of medications for him (sometimes it takes a while). We think your post means that he is either home, or will be home soon - we think cats feel much better at home, so we're keeping our paws crossed.

Also sending many purrs to Rumbles, the Rumblemum, and the Rumbledad!

We hope he can come home soon; he'll feel better in his own space, with Rumbles and his humans, we think.

So happy to read this this morning. Sometimes it can be really hard to find the right combo of drugs (human or feline!)

I hope that Inigo will start feeling more like himself when he gets home with his Rumblefamily.

I come from reading Max's blog (blindmaximus.blogspot.com) and he was asking the anipals to have good and positive thoughts for Iñigo. That way we'll be sending him a lot of good energy. I know that it is what we have been doing and we will continue because we all love Iñigo. He's a sweet good boy who has made a lot of e-friends. So, my dear almost-like-brother Iñigo, these are good energy purrrs, headbumps and nosetaps. Blessings for you and your family.

Mum said can you give Rumbles a great big hug and kiss for her because he is probably confused with everything that is going on and wonders where his brother is when he is at the vets.

Have you guys looked into doing a kidney transplant? My Abbey was looking into for me a wee while back - had a few signs of kidney failure but ok now. There is a lot of info on it on the web.
