The handsome Nikita is having his one year blog-o-versery on Friday!
He needs only 17 more comments from visitors to his blog by midnight Friday to reach 1,200 comments for the year... if you have a moment could you stop over and say hello to him? (and I may have mistakenly thought he was a bootiful lady cat earlier today. I blame it on the warm weather we've got out here making me silly)
On the topic of my sunscreen yesterday... my coloring is called 'high white', which means that most of my face and ruff are white, and the tips of my ears are very white. Because I'm so fair if I spend time in the sun I'm at risk for getting all kinds of yucky things like cancer.
Rumblemum gets me a special sunscreen from the vet called Aniwell, it rubs in so that I can't wash it off. I don't like it much and I can TOTALLY smell it even tho the humans think it's odorless. I guess it's a small price to pay to stalk the birdies...

Rumbles, I kind of wish I was a ladycat, so I could be your girlfriend.....
We're heading over to see Nikita! Maybe we can be comment 1200!!
I was wondering about the sunscreen - I knew there had to be animal-specific brands out there.
Going to stop by to say hi to Nikita... hope you are having a wonderful week so far!
A special sunscreen for cat !!! This is so new to me. Thanks Rumble... Something to learn everyday : )

You shall take helm 2011!

Rock on Buddy!
Er... sunscreen?
Our mom uses plenty of those!
She does "bird" watching too - hahaha! :)
I'd LOVE to use my FT to apply your sunskhreen ;-)
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
I wonder if the birdies can smellz it too?
I'm going to go comment at Nikita's--1200??? That's more comments than I ever got all added up together, MOL!
I will run over and say hello to your pal. Sunscreen!!! Well, we learned something new today. We never realized white cats had a problem with sunburn like da oomans. I guess I wouldn't like it much either, but we don't want you getting cancer either. Small price to pay then. Wear it buddy!
We'll go say hi to your furiend. We didn't know there was sunscreen for kitties but we're glad your handsome face and ears is well protected from the sun!
We will also go to say hello to your buddy. Don't worry about thinking he was a 'she'...it happens to the best of us!

Your high white is very handsome- I might even be a little envious!
We'll try to visit Nikita except our connection is so slooooooow that we keep timing out.
Cat sunscreen, huh? We've not seen that before!
You are looking so very handsome in today's photo, Rumbles. Swooooooon.
Purrs,
Sei-Chan
Simba says that mum puts suncream on his ears in the summer too. Mummy knew somebody whose cat got nasties from the sun on his ears and had to have some of them removed. They ended up rounded and he looked like a teddy bear!
I never heard of sunscreen for kitties before. I am glad you have it to protect your ears. I will go see Nikita.
Rumbles, yoor mommy clearly takes the greatest care of yoo, which tells us just how much yoo are loved.
Well, hello gorgeous!...Our Mommy has been very busy lately and we have really missed visiting you, handsome boy!...We are sending LOTS of smoochies your way=we love you, precious friend...Hugs to your Mum...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Handsome and beautiful Rumbles!! Yay that your rumblemum and dad put sunscreen on your gorgeous ears so you can go birdie watching in your fab kondo!!!! You are just lovely!! Take care
x
Rumbles, you are quite handsome. Mommy wants to come and give you lots of kisses!!!!!
We went and left a comment at Nikita's. Mum puts total block on the horses with pink or white noses in the summer.
Hey buddy!
I am the only kitty who gets sunscreen from my vet. There is a lady boxer dog who gets it, and the other dogs are all working dogs who spend the day being manly on building sites. I figure that means I am tough, too.
High white sounds way cooler than radioactive, which my mum calls me.

Ah well... to be able to chase birdies... that's worth a lot.
We went and visited Nikita and just missed being the 1200 comment but that is all right. It is always fun to meet new bloggers and kitties. Hope you have a cooler day.
I am runnin over to see Nikita's blog! Thanks for the head's up that HE is not a SHE!
XXX Oz
We'll try to run over there but we wanted to thank you for all of your care and love to me during my sickness. ♥♥
Hey Rumbles, I'm glad you are using your sunscreen! I'll go comment on Nakita's blog right away. Happy New Year my friend!!!
We'll check out Nikita, Rumbles.
We want you to know how much we value your friendship, and we are so thankful for it.
That's another mighty handsome pic of you. xxxxxxxxxxxx
Thanks for the heads up about Nikita. We have lots of all white cats here but they are indoor only - just a few sun puddles here and there. Good to know about the sunscreen.

So glads u wears sunscream to keeps u healthy!
Your mum loks after you well because she loves you. I will pop over to your friend now. Hugs GJ xx
The whites in your furs are dazzleling! We thinks that sunscreen is very smart! But we understand how you can still smell it... despite it being without scent!
That is the first time I ever heard of a cat needing sunscreen! I guess the skin under your highly white furs must be very white, too.
It's a good thing you have such a loving, caring mama to help you avoid any potential problems.
I'm a giant fan of sunscreen!
I'll head over to comment...
Thanks for the info on the sunscreen. Very interesting! Besides, you are already so handsome. If you got a tan, it would probably be too much for the lady cats to handle.
We think your mom must love you if she takes the time to put sunscreen on you. Happy New Year.
Hi Rumbles,
This is very interesting about the sunscreen. My feline brother, Sweet Pea, is almost all white. He doesn't go outside, but he does like to sit in sunny windows. I wonder if he needs sunscreen?
Your pal, Pip
That's so wonderful that your mom loves you enough to put sunscreen on that handsome face of yours.
