I'm getting less and less thrilled with this 'baby brother' thing...
I had to go to the VET today!!! All cause I needed my mighty claws trimmed before the baby comes! The INDIGNITIES!
The vet was super nice, and the vet nurse came out to admire me... but that doesn't mean I have to like it!
(I did get extra treats when I got home, but that's beside the point...)

You go to the vet to have your claws trimmed, Rumbles?!
Anyway, the probability is that the LC will have much sharper claws than you..... So watch out!

It is furry imPAWtant to be gentle around the little ones. A small price to pay - you're gonna love your new sibling, we just know it.
Ahh- but they didn't remove your teeth so you can still chew him up, right ?
Ooops,what I mean is you can give him tender play nibbles and wash him gently.
Claw trimming though - that is an indignity. I'd use the nearest furntiure to resharpen them!

Our mum works at a vet and always admires the exotic kitties that come in. She'd love to clip your claws for you! Your breed is not too common around these parts!

Uh oh. You must a be a kitty who puts up a fight when it's claw clipping time! If you'd be a good kitty, your human could do it for you and it would be a lot better than having a stranger do it.
Oh I hate having my claws clipped. I only allow mommy to do it when I am asleep and only 3 on each side, NO back claws allowed.

Awww Rumbles, don't be upset. Because when that cute little ball of fur comes home, you will still be the handsomest kitty. We don't like getting our claws clipped but why make a fuss. Get him to do your fetching for you! Little brothers are good for lots of things if you learn to use them wisely.

Oh...sorry you had to go in the PTU and to the vets for a pawdicure...are you squirmy for your humans or try to put the bitey on them? At least you got some strokes and treats out of the whole thing.

We have claw clippers in our house! When mom yells "manicures"...we know we are in trouble.

When Miles came to our house, the beans treated him like he was my new toy and I was still the boss. He got plenty of attention but I got all of the praise.

The mom can do a few of our claws at a time, when we're half-asleep, but when we have to go to the v-e-t for something else, she takes the opportunity to have the techs do it. :-P
