Inigo really didn't want to take his medication this morning. We managed to give him everything but one pill that he just wouldn't take, no matter what - his anti-nausea pill. We didn't want to torture him (he really was upset) so we made the call to not make him take it this morning (he has a second dose this evening)
He's not even looking at his food now, and I couldn't even coax him to smell it. This made me wonder if maybe he's not getting enough of the anti-nausea stuff? Maybe he needs a bigger dose of this to help him feel better?
He was out again today in his kondo, he looks like such a kitten when he's in it. He actually went to the patio door and looked at me, wanting to go out! He wandered around inside, and you could see him noming the birds with his eyes.

Sending all our love and purrs to the Rumblefamily. You are all in our hearts.
I have just caught up with developments and Lily & I are devastated that Inigo is feeling quite poorly and 'the decision' has been mentioned. You know your furbaby and will know when it is the right thing to do. He obviously isnt ready yet if he is out in his kondo spying birdies and fighting meds!! Maybe his meds are coming out his 'pores' and that why he wont groom? Maybe his desire for food (or not)is being influenced by his meds? What would happen if you stopped them? (despite the obvious) Maybe he is trying to tell you something or I am completely wrong.
Loving these creatures is fantastic and heartbreaking all at the same time.

I imagine it is a bit hard to write these posts sometimes but so many of us love Inigo (and Rumbles, of course) and are hoping and praying and concerned that these updates really mean a lot.
Thanks for the update, although, as Maximus mentioned, it must be difficult for you to write them. I know you will not let Inigo suffer, but he does seem to have quite a bit of life in him yet, food intake notwithstanding. I am continuing to send lots of purrs and good thoughts his way.
I know we had trouble getting anti nausea tablets down our Sooty. I wonder if they just taste crappy?
I think Sparkle is right, there is life in the boy yet if he enjoys his Kondo (what an opportunity to get the boy out to see the birds eh - marvelous!!!)
Everyone of us who has lost a friend is walking beside you right now, our hearts hurt right now, our eyes burn with tears. I want Inigo to have more time with you, I want him to be happy with you.
Let's hope and pray for more treasured times for you all.
Much love from Dash Kitten and Whskr
We are sending yoo tons of love and purrs. We know how hard this is for you all. It must be painful to watch dear little Inigo ignore his food and not groom ~ but the main thing is, he still has a zest for life and we know you will shower him with love, and care for as long as possible. We will pray he gets better. Purrs.
Very much love coming your way from us. Thank you so much for keeping us updated about Inigo. We know it must be hard, but we are very glad you get to feel all the love and support your freinds are feeling for your family. Purrs, Inigo: have fun in your Kondo!! Try to eat a litle for Mom.
I hope Inigo eat , I hope he groom I hope he get better. We send our hugs and my deep purrs to him and your family.
We're sending lots and lots of purrs to you and Inigo.
Thanks so much for updating us and we keep sending our purrs to Inigo and to you too. I wish you weren't so far away so we could all give you and Inigo a big hug.
You are in our prayers during this difficult time. Each cats life is precious and we beg the Lord to keep Inigo comfortable and happy whatever the final outcome may be. We beg also that Indigo is able to feel the love and support, of all of his friends, that surrounds him now. (Sometimes medications can cause food not to taste good.)
Sending you all my warm and loving thoughts. I know how hard it is when you are so concerned about your family member. I will be thinking of Indigo and sending love to all of you all the time. Know that for sure.
pawhugs to all of you... Max
Oh maybe that's why he's not wanting to eat cos he's feeling nauseous and needs a bigger dose?? Oh but he's so beautiful in his kondo!!
It's so great that he's alert and enjoying his surroundings and is curious about everything!! Good for beautiful Inigo!!!
Me and Charlie are purring for him very very hard! Hugs to all of you too! Take care
x
Thank you so much for the update. M has all of your family in thoughts & prayers and I'm still sending soothing purrs for all of you. What you are going through is so very difficult. All your friends will continue to surround you with love and comfort. Cherish each moment with your sweet, beautiful boy. He will tell you when he's ready. HUGS from M and me.
I wonder if it would help to mold some soft cheese like American cheese around the pill? We used to do that for Pixie. She didn't really "eat" the cheeseball, but it went down more smoothly with no medicine taste.
Keeping you and Inigo in our thoughts and purrs.
I am keeping you in my thoughts. I so feel your pain. The not eating is a worry but when we feel unwell and on medication we dont feel like eating. I so hope that changes and that sweet Inigo picks up soon. The fact that he wanted to go out and looked around is a good sign. Inigo will tell you with a sign if he has had enough. Sending so much love your way.. Carol and GJ xx
Thanks you so much for updating us. I shure az anything that Inigo iz feeling luv an so happy to be at home wiv those he luvs. Stay strong, we iz all sending our luvs and paw powers for all of you. xxoxx
Poor Inigo! We are sending him--and you all--continued purrs, purrayers and Light.
Blessings and Peace.
We are sending lots of purrs and prayers to all of you. We hope that Inigo feels better!
We hope Inigo is comforted by all our love and purrs and by the love and care you are giving him.
Can you blow a little pot in his face!? That was the ONLY thing that made it so mom could eat when she had cancer. She was too nauseous to drink water and no nausea meds worked at all. Just sayin'... Is veterinary medical marijuana legal in New Zealand??
Big squishy hugs for all of you.
Well it is all a vicious circle. The medicine is probably not letting him eat but he needs the medicine. Anyway we still have our paws crossed for a good ole miracle to happen. Sending tons of huge hugs to all of you. Sure will be thinking about you. Take care.
I went through this 11 months ago. I know how you are feeling, what you are thinking. His eyes will tell you when it is time.
Rudy and the other #RedRagers and the Orange Boyz are watching.
Love, Wanda, Mags, and Parker
Thank you for the update Rumblemum! We are purring for Inigo and the whole Rumble fambily.
If Inigo had an hour for every tear shed for the heart-break of your walk together, across the innertubes, he'd outlive us all!
Love
Thank you for the update, we continue to worry right along with you about Inigo! So sorry to hear he is not eating but maybe it is as you said because he missed the anti-nausea pill today. Do you have pill-pockets in NZ! A soft treat with a hole in the centre for a pill and then you just squash the treat into a little ball and seal the opening. They worked magic for about a year with Molly's daily thyroid medecation (she eventually went off them but she was such a fussy eater). I will be happy to send you some packages if you need them :-)
Sweet, sweet Inigo.....we are purraying for you...and of course for Rumbles, and your 'rents, as we know this has to be hard on them also. Please know that y'all are much loved. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
thinking and praying for strength for all of you....sending Inigo kitty and human kisses.
Much Love, Cody and Caren
Thank you for the update and especially the photo of Inigo enjoying his kondo. We're sending him lots of purrs and hope he feels more like eating after he gets another dose of medication later. Thank you for letting him know that we all love him!
Bless you and Inigo, we are purraying that he has a good day today. Please eat a little, handsome man.
Rumblemum, have you tried a pill shooter? I find it quick and less stressfull for BOTH parties.
We are sends all of the love and purrs we can to Inigo and to his family. We appreciate the updates on Inigo's health. We also know you will make the right decision (even when you know it is the hardest decision) when Inigo tells you he is ready. He is such a sweet and beautiful boy.
We are purring so very hard for Inigo...and for you, Rumblemum, because we know how difficult this all is. We're happy that Inigo is still enjoying his time outside. Now if only he would eat a little bit...that would make us real happy!
We love you, Inigo!!
It isn't much fun having to take lots of meds when you don't feel too good. Maybe the vet would have some suggestions. Lots and lots of soft woos and strong sibe vibes coming your way from us along with some hugs.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
We are purring and purring for all of you. We know you are treasuring every moment you have with Inigo. Thank you for updating us. We love you all.
I am sending all my love as the Admiral's mom, to the entire family and special love to Inigo and prayers for him. He is a precious member of the family and I am so grateful that you two are his mom and dad. It's easy to see how deeply loved that precious baby is.
xoxox
Thanks so much for taking the time to update us. although we're not there, of course, it sounds like Inigo is doing all right to us - especially if he is resisting medication and wanting to go outside. So we're still hoping! We are sending all of you lots of purrs and big hugs - we know this must be such a difficult time for you.
Many purrs from Franklin, Dobby, Tasha, (and mom Katie)
Thank you for thinking enough of us at a time like this to keep posting updates. You're all very special to the kritter community and we really do care. Please let us know if all this attention gets to be too much. We love you.

oops.. that shudda said "healing HUGS!" .. sorry.
Aw, I love the picture of Inigo in his Kondo!
Thank you for keeping us updating. I have been thinking about him a lot, and I know it is probably hard to keep posting for us. I hope all the love and support makes all of you know how much we care about you. :)
Perhaps Rumbles would share his extra stinky TOONA with Inigo?
We're thinking of you all in this difficult time & sending purrs for Inigo to feel better.
Thank you for the update on Inigo. We have kept in our purrayers constantly. We can't begin to know how you feel but we just want to let you know that we are keeping you in our thoughts and hearts. Enjoy each and every moment with Inigo.

Glad to see Inigo's still enjoying his kondo!
Thinking of all of you, and purring for you.
Sending lots of purrs and positive vibes.
Oh, dear, we are all purring and purraying furry hard for Inigo.
We do hope he will improve. This is so sad to read about such a dear furriend. We know it is effen harder for you to write as you have to ponder these terribly difficult decisions.
Munchkin sends nosetaps, headbumps and cuddles across the Pacific from California straight to Inigo in his noo condo.
Our thoughts are with you.
Sending comforting purrrrrss to Inigo and the whole famibly.
We're with several others -- if Inigo is playing in his kondo, fighting his meds, and eyeing burds with bad intent, he's still hanging in there.
Inigo still has some spunk in him yet. Have you tried giving him baby food - plain chicken? Let him lick it off your finger. I have also watered it down to squirt in thie mouth with a needless plasitc syringe. Hope he will take his meds. Sending lots of purrs to you all.
We are still thinking pawsitively fur our purry pal!
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
We love you, Inigo. You are always in our hearts and thoughts.
We came over from Teri & The Cats of Furrydance to give our good fishes, purrrrs and thoughts of peace as you ready to help your beloved transition to his next plane of existence. Of course it's always the hardest for those of us left behind here; but they are truly not gone... just gone on ahead.

Oh dear. We're thinking of you and purring...
You will know when it is time, my friend. Inigo will tell you and you will know, like an angel whispering in your ear.
I went through this exact diagnosis with my 1 year old kitty, Ruth. I know how absolutely devastating this is to accept. I'm sending love, hugs, and tears for you all.
Maybe you could ask the vet if the medications would be suitable to be compounded into something more palatable? We've been able to get medicine compounded by a human compounding chemist into a tuna paste that was way nommier than the tablet. We also have a pill popper for Suey, it's turned a 30 minute wrestle match (complete with clawrs and biteys) into a 30 second process. They are mum's favourite invention EVER!
We love you guys. (((hugs)))
I had to drop in and check on Inigo. I'm so sorry that he isn't eating and doesn't want to take his meds. I'm happy that he appears to be playful and alert. Please know that mom and I are thinking about you and sending purrs and prayers.
Sending you all loving purrs and tail wags.
Right now, there's a leaky eyes furry family in my house. We understand the feelings of the Rumblefamily because we had a similar experience the first half of the year with Piccola, who crossed the RB on June. It's hard no matter how much you try to prepare yourself. But I think that part of the process is letting Iñigo express his feelings, too. I'd love to read a post written by him about how he's feeling and how he's perceiving this process. It'll be very hard for him to write it and very-very hard for the rest of us to read it, but this is something that helped The Other One when Piccola got worst; she let Piccola express herself so she could understand better what was going on. We'll continue purrrring, meawing and sending Iñigo lot's of loving headbumps and good energy. We want him to feel better and feel peace.
Thank you for the updates, Rumblemom. It's so hard to see your baby not feeling well and to face the fact that it may be time to say goodbye. You'll know when it's time; in the meanwhile, enjoy your time with him, every minute is precious. Healing purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs and comforting purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs to all of you.
Just wanted to tell you we continue to purr and pray, and that we love you all.
Me and Sanjee and all my kittehs are sending lots of love and purrs and crossed wings for Inigo.
*ducky hugs and love*
