Update on Inigo

Inigo had another fainting spell on Sat. He hasn't been himself, and he hasn't really been eating as he should be. He seems so very sad. Rumblemum and dad are watching over him, offering him tuna water and any other noms they can think of.

Rumblemum has been watching The Tudors, and she's now calling me Lord Rumblingpurr and Inigo is Prince Cuddlington of the Floofingshire.

We're gonna hide her remote soon...

OPh Prince Cuddlington of the Floofingshire, big throaty purrs are coming your way for you to get better and for your little heart to stabilize itself with your medicines and good care from the Rumbleparents. We are worried about you, as I am sure they are. Know that many many kitties love you and are caring about you and your "little" brother.

Mum worries it's cardiomyopathy. Our Cuss-Wuzz had that. I hope the specialist visit goes well on Tuesday and you can report what he says.

Those are cool new names. If she goes too crazy with them, though, you should hide the remote for a while. I hope and pray that Inigo feels better soon. Herman sends his best healing purrs.

I'm sure you can find room in that floofery for a remote or two...

I hope the tunawater is doing the trick

No No No!! Inigo can't be sick! Mom's been out of town and missed all of this Inigo illnessness! We're so sorry and will start purring for Inigo right this very minute...

We read back through your last posts and found where Inigo was wheezing and you thought he had asthma. It just occurred to us that for about a year before Wynnie went to RB, every so often she would wheeze, but then she'd stop.

We thought it was just dust, or maybe a hair ball. They doctor later said that she'd had crazy high potassium levels and fluid somewhere, we can't remember where -maybe her heart... in addition to the big tumor on her bladder.

We didn't think it was a big deal - but obviously wheezing can be indicative of a huge deal, even potential heart failure.

Wow. We're going to ask one of The Anipal Times to write an article about coughing and wheezing.

Please get better Inigo! You're my soul brother!
=^..^=

Oh, Inigo, I had hoped you would start to feel much better once you started your meds. Pixie had to have a couple of adjustments in her medications over time. She also had episodes of syncope. Her cardiologist put her on Plavix (1/4 tablet) and she did much, much better and had no more fainting spells.

Have you tried baby food meat? This might appeal and it's very easy to digest if Inigo's not feeling well. Perhaps you could find baby ham.
