Hey. Ground. I'm the ONLY one allowed to rumble, you stop it NOW! |
Thank you so much everyone that's donated and helped promote the fundraiser. I'm so happy, I got a tweet from the SPCA in Canterbury yesterday! They've been following what we're doing with the fundraiser!
We've got 12 blogs (UPDATE: 15 blogs!!) with the Chip-in widget now, and there's an event on Twitter to help raise more funds for the charity - for my friends on Twitter the tag is #nipclub. Many, many thanks to friends Whskr, Dashkitten, @TheNascarKitty and @DuchessCrabtree who've arranged the event!
I have to thank some of my twitter friends for coming up with the idea - the wonderful friends at 'The little dog speaks', Pepi from the Pepi Smartdog blog, Mario, and the bootiful Miss Bunny Jean
I could keep saying thank you to so many people (and I honestly hope I haven't missed anyone) I'm always blown away at the generosity and kindness of the blogosphere and Twitter.

Well done and fanks to YOU pusscat
Thank YOU Rumbler.
(ps i'd have put a widget over on my blog, but I haven't done a post in forever!!(I need to find time to do that...))
* raises paw * excuse me Rumble. We need to revise the number of blogs hosting the chip in to 15. Check out here http://dashkitten.blogspot.com/2011/02/spca-christchurch-thank-you-from-dash.html
I managed (with MarioDaCat's help) to compile a list we believe is as accurate as we can make it so far.

P.S. you are awesome mate. Without you none of this would be possible OK?
WaHOO!! Thank you Whskr!! Updated!
Is there any way you can lengthen the date on your Chipin? I would love to post it when my current Chipin expires at the end of the month.
Yeah! I could start a new one maybe - send thru the funds from this one to the SPCA and start a new one for them.
We've got reports from the media that people are running charity scams (which is just sickening). I want to be really transparent with this fundraising and send the funds directly after the Chip-in closes :) Then if I start another I can send those funds directly after the Chip-in closes.
You are doing a wonderful thing helping the Christchurch SPCA, and also helping to give US a way that we can help a tiny bit.
Purrs.
We're right there with you pal, we want to do whatever we can!
Rumbles, that is such a great thing you and your friends are doing. We applaud you a lot. We are also really glad that you are all right. Take care and have a good weekend.
You are doing an amazing thing, buddy :)
Rumbles, you are doing a great job of helping people!!!!!
You ROCK, Rumbles. We're meowing about your good works over at Cats Who Twitter too! I'm very proud to have you as my brother! *nosetaps*
Hahahaha...your too funny, I hads to laugh at your comment!
Puddles

Dear d'Artagnan
Yous is the bestest and sweetest cat ever!
Way to go! and High Fives!

We are just so glad that all of you are safe. Mom gave a bunch of green papers to our Caring Hands Vet here in Furrginia. They are sending moneys and supplies to NZ this week-end... and sending a vet to hand deliver it and help with injured kitties and doggies.
Hey! I am so glad you are getting a new baby brother. He looks quite sweet.
My brother is very big and wild, but trust me Rumbles, they will learn very quickly that you are the boss. Miles may be bigger but I am the boss!!
bonkbonk for sunshine and calm days
your pal always, Pierro
Thank you for keeping us update on your Christchurch SPCA donations.
I haven't been here for a few days so I don't know if you've posted or not, but I do hope you, Rumblepurr, and your family were/are safe and sound.
Cute photo of you on the ledge!
Good job, Rumbles!! We had our mom donate some green papers. We just wish there was more we could do for all the peoples and animals affected by this.
Thanks to you dear friend for originally posting dat your earth was rumbling and providing the chip-in. You got the ball rolling. I'm so happy it has gone well, but we're not done yet. We still have Saturday night. We'll keep advertising it pal. Hope your ground stops shaking pretty soon - you've had enough damage over there.
Just read through your comments. It sickens me to hear some think of these as scams. This one certianly isn't. Any of the Twitter Animal ones I have participated in certainly were not. Anytime there is a disaster situation, there are always a few bad apples in the bucket who ruin the good things that are happening. We all love you and trust you Rumbles, and there are others in our group who also know of the good work your charity does. I can appreciate you feel and efforts in trying to be very transparent. It's too bad you have to be put in that situation because it's unwarranted. HUGS buddy.
Thank you for bringing awareness to the SPCA and for providing a way for all of us to help! We love kitties everywhere so are very sad for what has happened in your country but it's wonderful we can have a part in helping. Hugs and kisses to you Rumbles!
You are doing a great thing helping the Christchurch SPCA. Me and my family thankful for it. My dad's uncle who live in Christchurch said on his street just only his house can see the chimney. We are speechless !
It is a great thing you are doing Rumbles, and thank YOU for giving us a way to help.
I have stolen your chip in widget too, I hope you don't mind :) The more we spread it around the more kitties and doggies (yes, even doggies) we can help out.
You are doing really well to help. The first 2 months in 2011 have not been good for the countries in the south.
Wow, that is so cool. I hope you guys are able to raise lots of money. :)
'Rumbles':
We just made our contribution; we are sorry it couldn't be more and we are sorry we were so late. Ma had to check with Daddy-dog since money here is tight...we contributed what we could and hope that is okay.
Thank you for heading up this fundraising campaign. Ma and Daddy-dog met folks from NZ when they did Habitat for Humanity International's Jimmy Carter Work Project in Thailand in 2009...they were the craziest volunteer construction crew ever and Ma and Daddy-dog loved them all! BOL
We wish we could do more...so we continue to pray for everyone in Christchurch!
