Usually when I get on to the 'forbidden shelf' I knock over as many of those little Buddha guys as I can. But I know that Santa only comes to good little man cats, so I have found an acceptable compromise.

Good idea. Santa will never think of looking there for the missing 2 1/2 Buddhas. MOL!

Rumbles, I do not doubt that you are a well-behaved cat. Personally, if the buddhas want to share the shelf, then they need to provide you with adequate space for stretching out. Though I must ask...is there a gree buddha hiding under your...um...tail?
