Unfairness in the House of Ham

It's so unfair. I want to play with my toys, but I can never find them! Do you know why?

It's because RUMBLES likes to take EVERY toy from the fun, sunny living-room and transport them into the back bedroom!

Well hello toys. I've been looking for you.

I don't understand it. It is not a short trip either! He has to drag them alllllll the way down the long hallway...

And then it's like he just makes a pile out of them! He doesn't even PLAY with them, he just likes to surround himself with toys.

 Why can't I have my OWN toys. HAMMY toys?

Hello everyone, it's HAMMY!! I know Rumbles posted some photos of the new tower a couple of days ago, but he neglected to post any photos of ME!

Welcome to Hammy Towers! 

We both love the tower, but it's a bit of a competition as to who goes where. Lately I've been enjoying being on the very, very top!

How's it goin' down there, Rumbles?

I'm pretty sure Rumbles doesn't mind me being the tallest kitty in the whole world. I think he quite likes it actually.

Hmmm... you know, if we broke through the ceiling, we could add another
level on to Hammy towers...

Sunday Ham

Hello everyone! It's HAMMY!

It's getting SO COLD here. I don't like cold. Well I like one thing about it I guess, I love going under the blankets and snoozing next to the Rumblefolks! And I love the big fuzzy warm blankies that come out... so actually I love two things...

This blankie is soft AND it matches my floofs!

I also love keeping an eye on Rumbles. I'm so happy he hasn't had to go away again.

I see you, Rumbles!

So in summary, I don't entirely hate winter, and I really love Rumbles.

I've finally taught that Ham his place.

As the older brother, I should have first pick of where I want to sit (which is usually on MY chair) and that Ham should adapt and find a place of his own.

Hello my friends! This is HAMMY!!

I wanted to let you know that we had a GOOD Xmas. I got... HAM!! Yes, I got lots of ham. I also discovered that I LOVE turkey almost as much (Rumbles says turkey is better than ham. I don't quite agree with him yet)

Today is New Years eve for us, and I'm hoping me and Rumbles get some champagne ham at midnight. I know where I'll be sitting - in my favorite chair!

See? It says 'Le Chat' - that's ME!

*whispers* Rumbles is a little cross with me. He says this chair is his chair... but look how cute I am!

2014 is the year of the Ham

Happy New Years to all my friends, I hope it's a wonderful year for you all and that the bridge stays CLOSED in 2014.

Outside in the Kritter Kondo!!

We sure love summer, and we were so excited to go out on our deck for the first time!!

 Rumblemum wanted to make sure we were safe, so she won't let us go out unless we're in our Kritter Kondo. We loved going out when we lived at our old apartment but it's even MORE fun to go out in this apartment! There are all sorts of birds flying by, and we can smell the trees and stuff!

ooooOoooO... I love the smell of outside!

We had so much fun outside, and we can't wait to go out again. We really want to thank our friends at Kritter Kommunity for inventing such a wonderful product, and an extra big thank-you for the amazing customer service recently. They really went above and beyond to make sure our order got to us.

I don't mind being called Hammy. To be honest, even the mention of Ham is a wonderful thing. But lately Rumblemum has been coming up with new nicknames, and some of them are catching on.

My name is not 'Dewberry'. I don't care how cute you think it is.

I do not like storms

Hello everyone, this is HAMMY!

I don't like storms. We've been getting quite a few of them lately, and all the wind noises and rain noises make me a little afraid. I'm glad I have Rumbles to keep me feeling safe (even if I do feel the need to pounce on him from time to time)

I have even learned a few things from Rumbles about how to pose for the camera:

That Hammy loves his sun, and we've had a (small) bit of it lately. That Ham makes the most of it...

The most comfortable chair in the house is the one that Rumbles sits on!

I love doing everything that Rumbles does. I think it annoys him a bit (but that actually makes it MORE fun! hee hee!)

At the end of the day I know Rumbles loves me. He washes my head when I come over to him and he gets upset when he doesn't know where I am.

A Ham roll

Hello everyone!! This is HAMMY!!

I'm so excited that we're blogging every day. I have all sorts of things that I want to say!! Rumblemum was telling me that she saw that Sealy Dan guy AGAIN today on her walk home! I'm not so sure I'd like having a seal brother. He'd try to eat my noms. And as many of you pointed out, he'd need a big bathtub to roll around in.

I'm so happy that we're starting to get nice weather again. Rumbles and I love to roll around in the sunshine. As you can see from the photos, I also love to roll around at night.

We wanted to add... it's a sad day today. Sweet Abby from Manx Mnews has gone to the bridge. She was a very special girl, and one of our first blog friends. We send our purrs and thoughts to her family tonight.
