My new bed

Rumbledad got a Lego R2D2 for Christmas... I think that if Hammy was a robot, he'd be an R2D2. They just seem pretty similar. That doesn't mean I'd be C3P0 tho. I'm much too good looking.

The upside of him getting this? I get a new bed!!

And my new bed is multi-purpose! I also use it as a ramp - I run up it and launch myself onto any toys that are lying near by. It's awesome when a gift does so much.

Once upon a time... - Rumblepurr

Once upon a time, there was a Rumbledad.

This Rumbledad had never had a pussycat of his own. He was persuaded by the wise and wonderful Rumblemum that everything is better with a pussycat (and twice as good with two!) and so they decided to start the Rumblefamily.

Now having never had a pussycat before, Rumbledad had many goofy and irrational rules. One of these crazy rules was that there would be 'NO CATS ON THE COUNTERTOPS!!' Rumblemum heard this and laughed quietly to herself.

Time passed, and Rumbledad saw how cute pussycats were on the countertops. He decided to amend the rule to be 'Cats can ONLY be on the UPPER countertops, where there is no food preperation'. Rumblemum chuckled, but said nothing.

Then one day Rumblemum put a bag on the lower countertop. Imagine her surprise when Rumbledad SCOLDED her for putting a bag on the pussycat's spot! (which was actually the main food preparation area...)

The moral of this story? Cats will ALWAYS win (and the lesson is that nobody should listen to Rumbledad)

No travelling for the Rumble-parents

There will be NO packing of suitcases and NO travel for the Rumble-parents. Not ever.

Yesterday and today - Inigo

Yesterday was Rumbledad's birthday. It was BRILLIANT!! He stayed home with *ME, and we had late sleepy cuddles. Then we got up and watched American Football and nomed on cake by the heater all day!!

Today he left me alllll alone... in the cold... hardly any noms... This is the face I gave him as he was leaving.

Please sir..can I have some gruel?

I can't believe he left me...
