People ask me ALL the time... 'What do you want to be when you grow up?' Usually I say I wanna be JUST LIKE RUMBLES!!

Today I have found another calling... I wanna be a SUPER HERO!

You can call me... HAM HAWK: Avenger of pork.

Now I need a ham related arch-nemesis...

Rumblemum will try to convince you all that yesterday when she went into the bedroom and turned on the light she caught me and Hamlet having a cuddle.

I say pics or it never happened. And it does NOT count that you TRIED to get the camera before we ran away, Rumblemum.

(and if we WERE cuddling... and I'm not saying we were... it would be because we both love the blankie at the end of the bed)

Rumblemum is busy baking today for the SPCA cupcake day.

She turned around to get a spoon, and guess who was on the kitchen bench, eating butter!!

Let me give you a hint: his name rhymes with 'Lamblet'.

I would never dream of doing such a thing.

The two faces of the Ham

Hello friends.

I feel I must tell you something about that Hamlet.

In our apartment, there is ONE place I was able to go to in order to avoid the big Ham. There's a very high spot above the bed on Rumblemum's side.

The other night, while I was enjoying some Ham-free time, we discovered he could jump up and STEAL MY SPOT.

'Unacceptable!' I can hear you saying... 'how does he get away with it!'

It's because he has two faces. There is this one that I think illustrates the concentrated naughtiness:

And this face that he shows the Rumblefolks:

If anyone out there knows of a spot that a Rumblepurr can be a Rumblepurr without kitten interference, please let me know *gRumble*

The truth about 'little' Hamlet

Now, a number of you have commented on the fact that 'little' Hamlet has gotten SO much bigger.

The other day he sat on the scale. He is 4.8kgs.

 That's 10.58lbs.

Now it's important to remember that Hamlet is only 7 months old.

I think the lesson to be learned here is I should be nicer to him while I'm still the 'big' brother.

Must alway keep an eye on him while he's small...

Lazin' about, waiting on ham

Rumblemum came back from her holiday, and there was not a ham or a tuna in sight!!!!! This is pretty much how I was the whole time while she was away.

Like it ISN'T enough she neglects our blog, she is now apparently going to 'some island to look at fishies'.

NEWSFLASH Rumblemum, we LOVE fishies. And we travel very light.

So we won't be around for the next couple of weeks while Rumblemum is on the island, but we'll see you all soon.

See? Hamlet fits in here, and I can fly first class!

Rumbles is VERY cross with me. I have NO idea why!! Just because I maybe stomped on him a LITTLE bit while he was cuddling with the Rumblemum! So now I have him AND Rumblemum upset with me!

We've discovered the reason poor Rumbles was getting acne! Turns out he's allergic to kitten food! (unfortunately for Rumbles the best part of new kitten was the kitten food that came with him, and now that's off limits...) Rumbles is back to his handsome, almost-acne-free self and looking very handsome.

I think Rumbles saw this photo of me and thought I was a mighty LION! He's let me have a turn blogging today!

Rumblemum was a little cross with me the other day. I want to be JUST like Rumbles, and he jumps REALLY high on the shelves to watch over her when she goes to zzZzzz. Well, I KNEW if I hopped on the bed enough I'd be able to reach him.... when that didn't work, I hopped on Rumblemum to see if she was bouncy...

She is not.

Nor does she like me trying.
