We're super happy this week - Rumbledad took today off to watch some sport thing, and it's a holiday on Wednesday... so we get ALL DAY CUDDLES!! woo HOO! (at least we BETTER get all day cuddles. I've earned em!)

"Mister August"

That darn Ham! He is strutting around the house, preening in front of MY mirror... it seems he was selected for Morris the Cat's "Morris & Friends Calendar"

"Mister August" as he now likes to be known wishes to tell all his fans that if you need a little more Hammy in your year, you should buy this wonderful calendar! The proceeds go to he Hinsdale Humane Society.

And now even MORE Hammy... the wonderful people at Pet360 - a cool community for cat and dog people to meet - send us some WONDERFUL gifts, including a new sisal ball! Hammy immediately claimed it in the name of all that is Ham...



If you haven't seen the Pet360 site I highly recommend it. They've got all kinds of great info, including updates on pet food recalls and contests. They also have forums that need more cat people posting, so check them out if you have a moment!

Return of the Rumbledad

Hooray and hooray! Not only did today mark the return of the rotten roaming Rumbledad, but he brought us back some of our most favorite cat tents!!!

We've adored these tents, but never been able to find them in NZ! Ginger Jasper sent us some a while back, but we've loved those ones to death.  I guess you can only get them in the UK, so I'm very happy that Rumbledad bought several for us.

Speaking of the UK, I've got a post on behalf of VetVits!

VetVits is a UK company that provides a range of medications for your pet, including some excellent options in case your cat may need flea treatment.

They've got a really pretty and easy to use website, and have supplements for kitties, doggies and even horses! I was quite impressed with their site design and they've got a lot of really useful pet information including a 'What the Vet Says' section!

If you've got a couple of minutes, check out their site. In the meantime I'm going to be hanging out in my beloved tent...

Rumbledad returns tomorrow! He better bring an air conditioner with him...

We're starting to think he's not ever getting back!! But on the plus side, Hammy gets to take up his side of the bed and I take up Rumblemums side... she gets squished in the middle! *hee hee*

My cod, it is SO hot here the last couple of days! Apparently it was the hottest Christmas in 80 years!

Rumblemum followed us around with fans and that helped a bit. Here's how I was for most of the day:

I hope you all had a great Christmas. Today is Boxing Day, which me and Hammy were looking forward to... but I see no boxes?

We both miss Rumbledad, who is away visiting Rumbleuncle. Hammy is especially sad. I tried telling him if he gave me some of his ham it would make him feel better, but he didn't believe me. That boy is getting smarter...

PS - World hasn't ended. Worst thing that's happened so far is Hammy eating my treats, but he does that all the time and no apocalypse.

Hi guys! Sorry we've been pretty bad at posting lately... but we wanted to post about this cause we thought it was cool!

Our pals at Kritter Kommunity have created a cat scratcher and they're trying to convince Target to start selling it! It looks super cool and has been tested by some pretty awesome kitties, so we know it's gotta be good.

It's so nice to see a small company, run by anipal friends, do well.

Naughty Rumbledad

Rumblemum was having some roast chicken for dinner tonight when she discovered that Rumbledad has been VERY naughty... he taught us to BEG!

I may have tried to take the package of chicken right out of Rumblemum's hand...

Why yes, I do think that is for pussycats!

Of course 'begging' is in the eye of the beholder. Really we're demanding. But politely.
