I feel I must tell you something about that Hamlet.
In our apartment, there is ONE place I was able to go to in order to avoid the big Ham. There's a very high spot above the bed on Rumblemum's side.
The other night, while I was enjoying some Ham-free time, we discovered he could jump up and STEAL MY SPOT.
'Unacceptable!' I can hear you saying... 'how does he get away with it!'
It's because he has two faces. There is this one that I think illustrates the concentrated naughtiness:
WAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! |

Pixel says, "Rumbles, come over here! It's a kitten-free zone! (Well, except for me. And you, if you're here.)
Oh, dear, that second picture reveals all. I am afraid I don't have any good suggestions for you, Rumbles, unless you can squeeze behind the couch or under the bed.
Ha..Ha..Ha...Look at his face..Funny and so Evil in some way ! And after I Look at his adorable face when Hamlet show your pawrents ! , Rumble, This is Hard Task !!!!
Kitten-Free Zone might be a bath tube, but I don't think you want to go there, Me neither !
Rumbles, there are THREE girlcats here! I don't know why you have not come over yet!
The mass manipulator kitteh he is. I am almost impressed, but you can do better Rumbles! Get in there and give him a big swat and then when your Mum turns around clean his head ever so sweetly :<)
Hee hee, MEOW
Awwwww!! Sweet Diego has rumbled your bestest places handsome Rumbles! Awwwww!! Me and Charlie think you should crank up your Big Angelic Eyes Flutter with Rumblemum and Dad a peg or two!! Good luck!! :-) Take care
x
I got a safe place for you...*points at cooking pot*....he he
Oh Rumbles, you need to have your own private spot. We would invite you over here but there are way too many cats here for you to get any privacy. We are sending all kinds of purrs to you to find a Ham free place. Take care.
Poor Rumbles! That's the problem with brothers...they always wanna hang out with you. I'm still looking for an Ernie-free zone.

Hmmm - How bout hiding in one of the bathroom cupboards (if you have any), if not crawl into one of the cupboards in the kitchen, den close the door just enough so Hamlet can't see you in there. I see he has that "innocent look" down pat too. Poor Rumbles!
I am certain you will discover another ham-free zone!!!
We think you've illustrated the duality of kitten nature purrrfectly. Sadly, since he's now the size of a Volvo, we don't think there is a kitten-free zone anymore!
We hope you'll find another Ham-Free Zone! We've got to admit, he's purrfected the "look"!

Sorry Rumbles, but on seeing that last photo we can't believe that Hamlet would ever get up to any mischief. At all. We think he sits neatly like a good boy wearing a very handsome face.
I hate teh way othercats takes ovar stuff. If you figure owt how to eliminate othercats let me know okai?
HEE HEE HEE...what a silly face! We think moms lap is a great spot!
We like the lap idea - maybe she can protect you. We would offer you sanctuary, but we gots foster kittens here....
We think your rumbleparents should help you get your spot back by distracting the ham-kitten LOL!
Ha! That first pic is hilarious. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
We're fresh out of ideas for a Ham-free zone. Though he can't be two places at one time--do you have two large climbing kitty condos? :-)
We would be delighted to have you as a guest Rumbles.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh Rumbles...you are doomed. Hamlet has mastered "the look". The only solution is for you to move in here!

We would tell you to come here, Rumbles, but we have the same problem with the little guy Lightning -seems he is finding all our secret spots too.
Funny how they can turn on the innocence look, isn't it?
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Try the shower or the bath after the hoomans have finished with it. If he's a normal kitten, he'll stay away from that area of the house completely!
Aw, trick Hamlet into being interested in something AWAY from that spot and then pounce on that spot and refuse to move as long as it drives the ham crazy. That's what I'd do!
What a little sneak! My poor Rumbles, you just come to my house. There's lots of places here to hide from Candy & EK. We can even go on top of the kitchen cabinets.
I hide under Momma's desk and then he cannot get there because I swat him when he tries,
Gemini
Rumbles, babe, that Ham is one slick character. One thing you have on him is the wisdom of age. You'll find another kitten-free zone before you know it!

Dear D'artangan Rumblepurr,

We wish we could help you big buddy but we have the same problem here. And boy, don't their expressions change when they think they will get caught!
Diego, you are a-dor-able! And Rumbles, I hope you get your kitten-free zone back soon or that you find another one. Hugs to you sweet handsome guy.
Hamlet has his sweet look down pat! You are more than welcome to come here with us Rumbles! We'd love to have you visit!
Now forget all those other ladycats and just come on over here, I got plenty of spots that brofur can't get to... oh wait, that means you might not either! Oh well, there's always the cabinets! or the closet! hahahaha
QUEEN Jadzia
Oh my word, Rumbles, what will you do? You'll have to trick him into showing his naughty face! Or else...um...ah...we don' know :(
PS: what Madison said :) it's all in the timing...
I think your safest place would be up here with me. Of course, Truffle is scheduled to be here in another week . . .
Mom Paula
Ahhh, the kitteh has two faces. Well, you haf to expose the Ham fur what he is. Patience, Rumbles, patience. xoxo

Rumbles darling..indeed you DO need to come to our #Ladiesofutumn and see all of we ladies' glorious beautiful furs and embellishments like pink or black nosies..and distract yourself from kittens!!!
Come on ofur! Kit has his own secret place and usually stays out of mine, so he won't bother us!
