MY new bed

One of the other new things that we got (without asking ME) is a new bed.

Shocking, I know. I should have been taken to sleep on every single bed in consideration of the final choice, but no. I was not at all consulted.

This is me testing the new bed on it's first day.

We're BACK!

Hello my friends, it's been FAR too long!!!

We're all moved in, and the new place is pretty ok I guess (*whispers* it's AWESOME! Don't tell Rumblemum we said that, we like getting extra sympathy treats! heh heh heh)

Surprisingly, I was a VERY brave mancat right after we got here! Usually I'm a bit hesitant at new situations, but I was roaming around and claiming my spaces right away!

Hammy was really scared, he's only now just getting confident. He's usually the brave guy, but not in this case. I've been really good to him, I let him follow me around and when he's not so confident I mew mew mew to let him know things are ok.

Here we are investigating the new bathroom (Rumbledad says it's for guests. We say it's OURS)

Thank you SO much, Miss Peggy. It was such a sweet thing for you to think of us. And many thanks to Miss Marg (who always runs the auctions so well!) Miss Paula and Miss Sharon (who won the duckies - well played, Miss Sharon! We just saw that she got her duckies today as well, it must be a ducky-day!)

An award for US! - Rumbles and Diego

We got a most wonderful award from two of our pals!  The majestic Dante was very generous in giving us this award, as were our wonderful NEW friends from 'Need I Say Meow' blog!

So, we have to tell you SEVEN things about us! Rumblemum is making us share, so one will have to be about both of us...

1. Rumblemum says if Hammy was a dinosaur he'd be a 'Cuddleosaurus Rex' cause he LOVES to cuddle 
2. Rumbles really DOES have a rumblepurr - and he uses it very well! 
3. Hammy has a sensitive tum, so he doesn't often get his beloved ham. When he does he goes VERY wild eyed and insists on more! 
4. When Rumbles drinks water from the tap, he ALWAYS dips his head under the tap before he drinks! 
5. After Rumbles drinks from the sink, Hammy HAS to try to get a drink right after (but he's not very good at it) 
6. Rumbles goes mental for his YEOWWW nip toy from Baby Patches! 
7. We like to work together to break into the treat drawer and the toy cupboard! 

We're not sure who's gotten this award already, so we send it out to all our pals!

Hammy and I got taken to the vet the other day. Needless to say, it was a traumatic experience. Hammy was ok as long as he could see me, but when we were going down in our individual cages and he couldn't see me there was a lot of unhappy mewing.

The vet said we were both very handsome (mostly me of course) but he did warn the Rumbleparents that I might hiss at Diego the Ham when we got home because I wouldn't recognize his smell.

WELL! I proved that vet wrong. When we got home, Hammy and I cuddled up and washed each other for a while.

He's a Ham, but he's MY Ham.

We're BACK!!! And to celebrate, I've decided to find the HIGHEST place in the apartment to cheer from!

We've had so much happen to us while we were trapped offline! Our Secret Santa gift came and it was AWESOME!!! Our BOOOOTIFUL pals China Cat and Willow got us the BEST toys!

The most favorite one of all is a new, shiny Da Bird head. Rumblemum will take a movie of us trying to kill it.

We're soooo glad to be back online *happy sigh*

Merry Crispmouse!! - Rumbles

I LOVE Crispmouse!! I get gifts and noms and spend the day with the Rumbleparents!! This is Diego's first Crispmouse, and he's excited because he heard that the Rumble-in-laws are giving us a ham bag!

He assumes that means that he can get into the bag with the ham. I am much more realistic and know that the good noms are the turkey noms!

We were both really lucky this year - we got a gift from one of our secret santas - my sweet pal Boris sent us this wonderful BOX of goodies!!

Boris even sent some things for Rumblemum! He got her some LOL cat magnets (which she LOVES!!) and some hand wash stuff for after she cleans out our little box. Later we'll get to play with the new Da Bird, for now we rest up and hope you're all having a wonderful Crispmouse.

The other day that Ham and I were out on the deck in our Kritter Kondo. Imagine my shock when a little bird FLEW OVER MY HEAD and into the apartment!!

I tried to lunge thru the Kondo, but it would not yield *pout*

Hamlet just STOOD there with wide kitten eyes. He's not as sophisticated as I am, but I'm trying to teach him.

Brave new worlds... - Rumbles

OMC!! Rumblemum is home sick today (which means cuddles in bed! yeahhh!), so we're happy about that... but let me tell you what's got us both SUPER excited... we god a MASSIVE package from the US today!!

The very kind people from the Kritter Kondo store in the states have sent us our very own KONDO!!!

It's an amazing thing, it allows us (strictly indoors kitties) to go out on the deck (or backyard if you have one) Rumblemum is really excited cause she thinks this might help Inigo get his appetite back, he loves to sit in the door to the balcony and breath in the outdoor smells, now he gets to be out on the deck!

We'll be posting video and photos of our adventures, Rumblemum isn't feeling well enough to put it out for us (and she wants Rumbledad to see us in it and he's not home yet) Stay tuned!!!
