Making my own fun - Inigo

Rumblemum has been SO busy this week, and Rumbles is practicing his cat-walk (he thinks it means walking along as many counters and tables as he can. I've given up trying to correct him)

I'm gonna pick a movie and a book and snuggle into the electric blankie.

Rumblemum better stop being busy soon.

MANcat Monday - Rumbles

I like to sit near Rumblemum on the back of the couch. I soothe her with my rumbles, and the only time I take my eyes off her is when I close them.

Iz gonna get you sucker! - Rumbles

We've been issued a challenge by the NZ Next Top Model contest. They want to see us modelling with our favorite toy.

I've got a great many favorites, but the one that truly captures my heart is the infamous little red dot.

Rumblemum NEVER lets me play with it any more, because I get soooooOooo worked up. I play till I drop (quite literally) and I spend the whole day looking for it once it disappears (again, literally)

She decided to bring it out special for this contest - she was thinking that I'd matured a lot since the last time we played with it, and it's a great little toy...




MISTAKE! hehehe... what you don't see in this video is me running around in circles trying to catch the dot... me looking EVERYWHERE for it after it went away (I'm still looking for it. I'm convinced it's under the sofa now)

I get the feeling from the concerned look on her face I won't be seeing my laser toy again.

Return of the Rumble!!

FOXY Friday - valuable? beautiful? Sparkle! - Inigo

Heh heh heh... Rumbles is still grounded for selling my toys. He gets to blog again starting tomorrow. Lucky for me he's not allowed to have a Foxy Friday pick!!

My pick this week is a very valuable and beautiful one. They say diamonds are a girls best friend, but I found something that causes a diamond to be even MORE valuable and lovely - I've found the Sparkle at the center of a diamond!

Umm... but how do I get her out?

I wanted to show you some of the kitties your donations will be helping - 50% of the donation Rumbles raises will go to the Wellington Cats Protection Society, the other 50% is going to the SPCA.

I showed you kittens from the Cat Protection Society earlier in the week, now I have some of the bootiful kitties that are looking for new homes! If you live in NZ and want a new family member, here are some details on adoption. I've put the names of the kitty's in the photos at the top of each photo in bold, so you know who you're asking for at the Society if you choose to adopt.

Like all his strutting around wasn't bad enough.. now he's sold some of MY toys on eBay so he can make donations to the 'bootiful lady cats' in the competition!

I can't blame him - there really are some pretty girls running... but MY toys?? I'm so totally eating his food tonight...

Miss Lily is a lovely girl, Rumbles has known her as 'Queen Lily' on Twitter - she has such stunning markings!

And another Lily! A girl with an excellent name, Lily Sassymeow, has got Rumbles all in a tizzy (and me a little bit too - she's part Ragdoll and part Birman!)

Finally, one of our fellow bloggers - Soxycat! Who can resist such a BOOTIFUL girl? Not Rumbles apparently!

It's a very good thing that I've hidden my toys, or they'd be gone so he could donate to all the lovely girls that have entered the contest! I cut Rumbles off just when he noticed the sister of one of our favorite friends, Madeline!

Nobody can resist... KITTENS!!! - Inigo

Now you know that Rumbles is trying to be a model (he's looking at himself in the mirror as we speak) but it's a super good cause that all the models are raising money for - various Cat Protection Leagues throughout New Zealand, and the NZ SPCA.

Rumbles is playing for the Wellington League (because he heard there were bootiful girls there *sigh*)

The League is run totally on donations, and this model contest is a brilliant way to give attention to a very worthy cause.

I've asked the lovely people at the League if we could have some photos of the kitties that are looking for homes - just in case anyone local maybe needed a new addition to their family?

This little one reminds us of a baby Brew!!

I can see I'm going to have to manage the blog for a couple of days... Rumbles is in such a state about all the bootiful girlcats he could (potentially) smooch in the New Zealand Next Top Cat Model contest. He struts around, fluffing his ruff and whiskers so that he looks more 'model-y'. There is no point trying to talk sense to him.

Who's the model in the family? I can always find the light!!

Rumblemum has asked me to say THANK YOU so much for everyone that has contributed! She is so touched at each and every donation and kind comment. (Rumbles says THANK YOU too, but he says it all fancy now that he's a potential model *sigh*)

All the donations are going to a great cause, the Wellington Cats Protection League. Rumblemum has been there and she says it's full of sweet kitties looking for good homes.

My pick is SO hot, she can walk on the sun and not feel a thing! Miss Pricilla is a lovely girl from the Kitty Trio blog. She and her very attractive sister and manly brother live in Adelaide (so it's good she's so hot, she won't feel the heat!

New Zealand's Next Top Model... - Rumbles

Yaaaahoooo!! I finally got in to register!! I'm so excited!!

What I have to do now is some fundraising... I was thinking of a kissing booth... but then I realized that the man cats wouldn't much care for that. Here's what I have for everyone that makes a donation to my cause (which is the Wellington Cats Protection League - you can read more about them here)

After you make a donation, please comment on this post to let me know. You don't have to say how much you've donated in your comment, just comment that you've made a donation. (and remember, the NZ $ is MUCH lower than Canadian, American, Australian or pretty much any other dollar out there, so you get lots of bang for your buck!)

Well, I've decided to follow in the pawsteps of Misha, and throw my hat in the ring for New Zealand's Next Top Cat Model!

I may need to call on your support in this (especially the girl cats - smoochies are very helpful when you're running for Top Cat Model. Honest) And so you all know, it's for some very good causes. I'm going to be supporting the Wellington Cat Protection Society.
