Regular readers of the blog will know about the Bee Bear.
Seeing such a clever bear made us wonder what other bears do with their day? We sent mummy out to investigate.
This is Martina Beara-tilova. She is queen of the tennis set, and hopes one day to travel to Wimbledon.
This is Scurvy Pete, he's a pirate bear. He frequently pillages lost honey ships. He's not really a bad sort, because if you look you can see Bonny Anne Beary in the background - he looks after her and makes sure that she has lovely frocks
And here we have some sporty bears - mummy wasn't really sure what sport they're playing. She was looking for the All Black Bears, but it's training season and they're all out on the field.
With so many hard working bears here in New Zealand, it makes me a bit concerned that people may expect the pussycats to start doing things.
Once upon a time - in a past life - Mom might have had some of those bears!
Tank woo fur sharing!
Ah,but Inigo, you guys already work hard! The Rumbler rumbles & you work at getting to the treats before he does!!
Isn't that what cats are supposed to do?...snicker...
I think you work hard at being cats so I wouldn't worry.
Well, that's why all the bears are working...so us kitties don't have to!
Wiv all the werk those bares is doing, there's no reason for kitties to worry bowt anything!
Being a bear in New Zealand looks tough! Our mum's brother had one of the little rugby bears, in a Hurricanes uniform!
Just don't look like you can do much when you's momma is lookin' at those bears and all that they do. Look like you is gonna do nuttin'.
Where would we find the time to work? With all the napping, and playing and tree climbing and posing and blogging and eating and napping some more and chasing butterflies and chasing your brother/sister and purring and bathing and finally napping?
That's a lot of hard werking bears for sure.
We DO work hard! We have to test all the toys that Momma makes, and pose for photos and stuff.
These bears are very cute!
Our job is to be cute all the time and that's not easy!
P.S. We love the bears - our favorite is Martina!
How cute are they?!? We have quite a few bears at our house, stuffed (little sisfur beans) and REAL ones!!! If you go back a few months in our blog (maybe May-ish) you can see the REAL one we have. Mom calls him Bruiser, and he's furry fresh!
That's a bunch of hard-working bears, all right. Kitties already work hard at training their humans and keeping the house bug-free and entertaining each other, and all the other stuff that they do. They don't need any more jobs.
I'm glad I'm not a bear, I don't like jobs! I like the sporty bears, they look like fun to destroy...err..play with!
Wow, I sure like make bear friends from around the world. I get to post on the doggies blog every Monday, so I guess I'm one lucky bear. What smart and busy bears you have found.
Don't worry, they might expect it but we cats won't do it.
Crystal, Cotton, Cyndi, Percy, Cameron & Rusty
Those are all great bears - it looks like they work very hard. But I do have to admit that I think I love Bee Bear the best!
