Bears in New Zealand work very hard - Inigo

Regular readers of the blog will know about the Bee Bear.

Seeing such a clever bear made us wonder what other bears do with their day? We sent mummy out to investigate.

This is Martina Beara-tilova. She is queen of the tennis set, and hopes one day to travel to Wimbledon.

This is Scurvy Pete, he's a pirate bear. He frequently pillages lost honey ships. He's not really a bad sort, because if you look you can see Bonny Anne Beary in the background - he looks after her and makes sure that she has lovely frocks

And here we have some sporty bears - mummy wasn't really sure what sport they're playing. She was looking for the All Black Bears, but it's training season and they're all out on the field.

With so many hard working bears here in New Zealand, it makes me a bit concerned that people may expect the pussycats to start doing things.

Being a bear in New Zealand looks tough! Our mum's brother had one of the little rugby bears, in a Hurricanes uniform!

Where would we find the time to work? With all the napping, and playing and tree climbing and posing and blogging and eating and napping some more and chasing butterflies and chasing your brother/sister and purring and bathing and finally napping?

We DO work hard! We have to test all the toys that Momma makes, and pose for photos and stuff.

Our job is to be cute all the time and that's not easy!

How cute are they?!? We have quite a few bears at our house, stuffed (little sisfur beans) and REAL ones!!! If you go back a few months in our blog (maybe May-ish) you can see the REAL one we have. Mom calls him Bruiser, and he's furry fresh!

That's a bunch of hard-working bears, all right. Kitties already work hard at training their humans and keeping the house bug-free and entertaining each other, and all the other stuff that they do. They don't need any more jobs.

Those are all great bears - it looks like they work very hard. But I do have to admit that I think I love Bee Bear the best!
