The vet said we were both very handsome (mostly me of course) but he did warn the Rumbleparents that I might hiss at Diego the Ham when we got home because I wouldn't recognize his smell.
WELL! I proved that vet wrong. When we got home, Hammy and I cuddled up and washed each other for a while.
He's a Ham, but he's MY Ham.

Yup - our brothers are a pain in the neck, but we look after them when it's necessary. Poor Hamlet, yelling like a kitten-cat when he couldn't see his big bro!
It probably worked out because you two went together. When my human takes one of the other cats alone and brings them back, I get MAD! But when she drags me along (completely against my will, mind you), I'm not as upset.

That is so very nice to hear that you washed the awful vet smell off each other and cuddled after your ordeal. We bet Mom was proud of both of you.
Aw, that's great that you cuddled. We've never had a problem with the v-e-t smell when one of us comes back from the torture chamber. :-)
The hissing and not recognizing scent only happens when one cat goes to the vet and the other stays home. Glad you guys washed the vet stench off each other!

the v-e-t our grammie takes her kittehs to says to squirt baby powder on the butt of the one that was at the v-e-t and there will be no hissing. that's just WRONG.

Going to the doctor is never much fun. The peeps usually take us two at a time, which is good, 'cause then we can keep each other company and not be so scared.
